I had the phone over a month now . From my use i can say that it is a great phone for daily basis, i wouldn't recommend it for heavy users as it gets hot ,it does perform pretty well in most games but you can buy better processor at the same price . Battery life is great ,and as i said heavy use will make the phone hot and as a result the battery will drain a bit fast but still last with you for hours, the only problem will be the charging it's so slow that will make you appreciate life and go for a walk or do something useful.

View answers - Pretty good phone for it's price, if you don't wanna spend a fortune on a phone, go for this one
The design of this phone has it's ups and downs, it's light, it has an aluminium frame, and it's really durable (been wearing it without a screen protector ever since I have it and there's not even a scratch on the screen), but... really uncomfortable to hold due to the sharp edges (that's the only reason I have a case on it). Camera quality wise, I'm not a very big photographer, I only took like 3 or 4 pictures with this thing, but the quality is very good, the nightography, well, you're pretty much getting what you're paying for, but that doesn't mean it's bad. The performance is good for day to day use and some games. As soon as this thing opens up a very demanding game, it turns into an oven and starts running at 30 fps. As for the audio, I can't really distinguish it, but from what I've heard myself, it's good I guess. Oh.. and the elephant in the room, the thick bezels, I got used to them, but still... I guess it's better than having a big chin on it, essentially covering 20 percent of your phone's screen. Overall, pretty good (for it's price). Ps. I dropped this phone quite a lot of times (keep in mind that I only have a case on it), each time, it fell on the screen, and not a single scratch.
Pros- Good performance for day to day use
- Good cameras
- Very durable
- Good software
- Years of upgrades
- Pretty cheap
Cons- Battery goes to shit after you download some games
- Thick bezels
- Gets pretty hot when running high demanding games

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is noticeably heavy, which might feel odd since other phones with similar weight often feel lighter. It’s made with high-quality materials, featuring a modern and sleek look. Although the display bezels are a bit wide, they’re easy to get used to, and considering the price, it’s acceptable. The display itself is bright and vibrant, with no visibility issues even in direct sunlight.
Powered by the Exynos 1480, the Galaxy A55 generally runs smoothly and stays cool. However, gaming performance is less impressive, with occasional micro-stutters in some games. For a mid-range phone that isn’t primarily designed for gaming, this is still acceptable, though worth noting.
The camera setup remains unchanged from previous models, which is disappointing. The main camera captures decent shots during the day, but struggles significantly at night, with overly soft images lacking detail. The ultra-wide camera performs fine in daylight but is nearly unusable at night. The selfie camera, unchanged since the A51, also underwhelms—older models like the Galaxy S8 can sometimes produce sharper selfies. Video quality, however, is solid, though limited to 4K at 30fps despite the processor’s capability to handle 60fps.
With a 5000mAh battery, the A55 offers good battery life for a mid-range phone with an efficient processor. It achieves around 7-8 hours on Wi-Fi and 6-7 hours on mobile data. Charging is relatively slow at 25W, but this isn’t a major issue if charging overnight.
Features like IP68 rating, eSIM, microSD support, hybrid dual-SIM, good speakers, and a solid vibration motor make the Galaxy A55 a strong mid-range option. However, it’s not without flaws—poor gaming performance, an unremarkable camera, and a lack of innovation might leave some users wanting more.Pros- High-quality materials
- Good and very bright display
- Decent performance (wasn't always like this)
- Good videos
- Very strong battery
- Nice extra features (IP68, Esim, micro SD etc..
Cons- Heavy smartphone
- Poor Gaming Performance
- Awful Selfie Cam
- No Major Improvements

Score
- 6.7 Design & Materials
- 6.8 Performance & Hardware
- 7.9 Camera
- 8.0 Connectivity
- 6.8 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
