- Solid smartphone, but not exciting...
Samsung has made the A56 both thinner and lighter, which is definitely welcome. Compared to other mid-range phones, the high-quality materials also stand out.
The display is, as usual for Samsung, excellent—vibrant and bright. The device uses the Exynos 1580 processor, which surprised me. There were already improvements with the A55, but the A56 is the first A-series device from Samsung that truly feels smooth most of the time.
ONE UI 8 may also play a role in this good performance. I really like it both visually and functionally; no Android skin appeals to me as much as Samsung’s, even though Stock Android certainly has its advantages. Six years of software updates are very respectable and not something every competitor offers, especially at this price point.
Now we come to an area where Samsung has been lagging behind for years, and where I was partly shocked by the results: the camera. The main camera usually takes decent photos in daylight, but there are situations where it completely fails. Landscape photos sometimes look overly sharpened or suffer from limited dynamic range. Samsung also still has its contrast issue, where colors are boosted in a way that does not reflect reality. The other two cameras can essentially be ignored; even in daylight they are often barely usable. Video recording, on the other hand, is very good, and Samsung is clearly moving in a positive direction here. Selfies are better than on the predecessor, but still not outstanding.
Battery life is good, but I did not notice any improvement over the previous model. With 5G, I get around 6.5 hours of screen-on time, and with Wi-Fi usually around 7 to 7.5 hours.
In summary, Samsung is moving forward very conservatively. It is not a bad device, but the competition is in some areas clearly better—especially when it comes to camera performance.Pros- Nice Build for a Midranger

Overall i use this phone for like 2 month, its a good phone for people who just use it for daily like social media, chatting. And for gaming test sometimes it's really hot on back (maybe around 40-42 degrees celcius). For the camera it's good even tho theres no option for 4k 60 fps recording on front camera :(, i like the experience using this phone, thanks for the one ui ^_^

The first thing I can highlight is the screen; it's a beautiful and eye-catching phone. Based on the screen, it remains excellent. Calls are perfect, the sound quality is excellent, and while it's in the mid-range, it tends to oversaturate high frequencies. Performance is smooth in ordinary use thanks to its well-designed software. The battery lasts all day depending on what you're doing. Now for what I didn't like: I noticed frame rate drops when playing games and listening to music, and it throttles. The second issue is overheating. I don't know if I'm just a bad user, but it gets hot for some reason when I'm using it on Instagram. I'm satisfied with this device overall, but there are areas for improvement.

Score
- 6.9 Design & Materials
- 7.5 Performance & Hardware
- 7.8 Camera
- 8.0 Connectivity
- 6.7 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
