The exynos is very very laggy in everyday use. I know about smartphones, I've debloated mine even optimized it, and it's always laggy believe me, The camera has okay quality but for me these colors make me wanna vomit, and I measured the brightness and it's around 780 nits, Even an iphone xs is brighter (which is almost 7 years old) and it doesn't feel like a flagship phone and I would reccomend to stay away, even an s10 would be much better. Overall I would give it a 3/10.

I love the design of this phone because of the compact 6.2 inch build, and it's very comfortable to hold.
You can see it in the sunlight unless the sun is like really bright, but on a normal day, it's perfect. I would say I use like 70-80% brightness outside.
It's very smooth especially with 120hz, but even with 60hz it still feels decently smooth.
The Snapdragon 888 chip gives amazing performance, but the thing with the 888 and 8 Gen 1 chip is that they tend to heat up a lot and quickly too. Let's say I decide to play something like CODM for 1 hour, the phone will start getting hot in under 5-8 minutes, with the phone reaching peak hotness at the 25+ minute mark.
The audio is really good at the lower points, but the louder you make your audio, the worse it sounds.
I don't use the cameras too much so I'm not going to do into that, but if I had to use 2 words to describe the cameras, those words would be "Really good" except for low light photos/videos. Those are.. alright.
The flash is VERY good. That's all I have to say.
I never experienced any WiFi issues and I've owned this phone for 1½ years now.
For battery, I get 10-11 hours with screen on and off time combined. With screen on time only, I usually get 6-7 hours. (60hz, I don't use 120hz because when I do the battery is like 4-5 hours).
It does come with apps, but I really couldn't care less about them.
Every month all the Samsungs get a security patch, and I do get them every month. They never get delayed for me. Like right now I'm on the June 2024 patch.Pros- Compact 6.2 inch 120hz AMOLED display
- Could be seen in sunlight easily
- Good audio for the most part
- Above average cameras
- Always gets security patches on time
- No wifi issues
Cons- Good perfoming chip, but it heats up A LOT (Snapdragon 888)
- 4-5 hours SOT with 120hz

Compact phone with premium characteristics and feeling. Frequently updated. Premium screen flat. The battery is lasting all day long with an intensive use. Dual sim and eSim support . Unfortunately Samsung demands photos backup to Microsoft onedrive only but you can choose alternative providers. Customer support can be improved specially for S series Customers as well as the phone settings (too many options demanded to customer choices).

Score
- 7.1 Design & Materials
- 7.1 Performance & Hardware
- 7.9 Camera
- 8.3 Connectivity
- 5.3 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
