Samsung S21FE definitely has an excellent display, cameras and software. The size is ideal. The 120hz AMOLED display is perfect. Or rather, almost perfect. Namely, it is not adaptive, so you will be stuck at 60 or 120 hz, depending on what you choose. And that certainly, in addition to the demanding SD888, has a negative effect on the battery.
The software is excellent, every day usage is fluid. The updates are regular, the security ones arrive every month and the others immediately after S23 and S22. The cameras are superb, I believe that even today (July 2023) you cannot find better cameras for this money. In addition, wireless and reverse charging certainly improve the impressions. Water resistance is a big plus, swimming in the pool for an hour or two successfully tested. I don't mind the plastic on the back, moreover, it is less sensitive to scratches. The big gest drawback is the battery. Screen time with a 120hz display during an average day is about 4 hours. With a 60hz display, that time increases to over 5 hours, and with the battery saving activated, to a total of 6 hours of SoT, what is not bad at all. The battery saving option is particularly good because although it is defined as limiting the CPU to 70%, in reality you won't even notice the difference. Even Antutu differences are less than 5%, and according to last measurement on Antutu v10 the differences are minimal (about - 1.5% in performance or 840k vs 827k).
It's a pity that there is no adaptive display because it would surely add an hour to the battery life.
Overheating is not a common occurrence except for demanding video games or long 4K 60fps video recording.
Regardless of its shortcomings, the Samsung S21FE is a top smartphone, especially now that its price has dropped to around €400.Pros- Cameras

Score
- 7.3 Design & Materials
- 7.6 Performance & Hardware
- 8.2 Camera
- 8.4 Connectivity
- 6.2 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
