Introducing the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G – The High-End Smartphone
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is the highly anticipated latest addition to the Galaxy S21 range, a series of high-end smartphones that has been gaining popularity in recent months. This model, with its sleek and stylish design, offers all the features you'd expect from a top-of-the-line device, including a vibrant 6.40 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2400, a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m², HDR10+, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos surround sound. It also features fast charging, wireless charging, reverse charging, and a dust and water-resistant body, as well as a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 (5nm) processor, 6GB/8GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS Storage 3.1.
In terms of photography, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a triple-camera setup, featuring a 12.0MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 13.0MP ultra-wide angle + macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8.0MP telephoto + portrait camera with an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there's a 32.0MP selfie camera. All cameras support 4K video recording at up to 30 fps, 8K video recording at up to 30 fps, and optical zoom up to 3X.
As for connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G supports Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM, NFC, and WiFi 6. It comes with a 4500mAh battery, and can be charged with both 25W fast charging and wireless charging.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is an excellent choice for those looking for a top-tier smartphone. Its excellent camera quality and vibrant display make it a great option for photography and entertainment, and its dust and water resistant body make it a reliable companion for those on the go. Its main drawbacks are its short battery life and lack of a microSD slot, which could be a dealbreaker for some users. Nevertheless, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is an impressive phone that will be available in January 2022.

- I genuinely love this phone, but the constant risk of the green line issue overshadows its otherwise impressive performance
This phone is powered by either the Snapdragon 888 or the Exynos 2100, both of which were flagship processors at the time of release. Because of that, I really enjoy its image and video processing capabilities. The gaming performance is also quite satisfactory for my needs. Genshin Impact can maintain around 60 FPS for a period of time, while CarX Street can run at a relatively stable 30 FPS for a while as well. However, this phone also has several significant drawbacks. The Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 are both well-known for running extremely hot. Even during light daily usage such as browsing social media, the device can reach temperatures of around 40°C when using mobile data. Gaming pushes the temperature even higher. While the phone is capable of delivering 30–60 FPS, it can only sustain that performance temporarily before thermal throttling occurs. In my experience, this results in noticeable frame drops and inconsistent performance due to overheating. Battery life is another weakness. The battery drains fairly quickly, especially under heavy use. The biggest issue, however, is the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and its infamous green line problem. In some cases, green lines can appear even after a software update and without any physical damage such as drops or impacts. They may simply appear on their own due to certain factors. I acknowledge that this display is one of the phone's greatest strengths in terms of image quality, color reproduction, and overall visual experience. In fact, I genuinely like the screen itself Unfortunately, the green line issue severely affects its reliability. I also understand that this problem is not limited to the Galaxy S21 FE. Reports of similar issues of other Samsung Galaxy S models. Overall, I genuinely like this phone. Most of its shortcomings do not bother me too much. The only flaw that truly concerns me is the green line problem, as it is by far the most frustrating issue with an otherwise excellent device.
