It'll only take a minute, you'll help people decide.

Let me sum it up for you

Kimovil users consider it a brutal and powerful smartphone, praising its excellent value for money. They see it as a "flagship killer" ideal for gaming, photos, and multimedia content. However, some users point out its considerable size and weight, and the front camera, as drawbacks.

Latest reviews added

  • A powerful smartphone built to handle different tasks that you throw at it.

    Nubia Z70 Ultra
Design: Great size and an amazing screen space. A little top heavy, requiring some adjustments when mounting on gimbals.

Power: Featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with the Adreno GPU, it feels like I'm using a computer already. Capable of running any mobile applications easily, and can even run some computer games due to the sheer power of the SOC. Though pushing the phone too much will introduce overheating.

Camera: Triple back cameras on the phone.
{Main} Sony 50mp 35mm - An amazing F/1.6 camera, able to capture low-light scenarios with relative ease. As expected from Sony, the autofocus is fast when semi-holding down the built-in shutter button. I do notice some focus breathing but should be negligible at bright and sunny environments.
{Wide Angle} Omnivision 64mp 13mm - A macro camera, capable of capturing close up or wide shots. Great for everyday use and scenery photos. However, it does lose colors compared to the 35mm, but it shouldn't bother too much for casual photoshooters.
{Telephoto} Omnivision 70mm - Telephoto camera, great but often gets ruined by the AI adjustments when zoomed to the maximum. Retains good color and decent autofocus when locked at 70mm.

Battery: The all new Silicon-Carbon battery makes it's way to the smartphone world! 6150mAh of battery storage should suffice enough for an entire day of moderate use. However, when using the phone at intensive tasks (3D rendering, Gaming, Video), the battery drains quick just like any other phone.

Anyways, I would put more here but it's mostly nitpicks and niches that the general public wouldn't mind. One example would be the lack of Cine or ProRes Video Logging. No baked-in custom AI assistant by Nubia in the global model (as of the time of making this review). And the list continues.

Would I recommend this phone to anyone?
Definitely, it's a great Flagship for it's price. But there is still room for software upgrades by Nubia, so stay tuned for that!

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
