- Z Flip5: a curious, but fun smartphone
the Samsung Z Flip5 is one of the best phones you can get in the (certainly older) foldable market, with an enormous jump in battery, processor and external display, the Z Flip5 is an absolute evolution from the older generation.
with one of the most attractive and polished designs Samsung has ever made, the Z Flip5 has a big advantage over tranditional smartphones as an stylish, comfortable and unique device.
even though this is a really beautiful device, under the hood hides the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, scoring over 1.200.000 points on AnTuTu, it's one of the most powerful and flagship-like processors you can get for a lower price than usual. accompanied by the smooth and great One UI, and 8 gigabytes of RAM, this device runs smoothly for casual and everyday use.
it's almost edge-to-edge external display is one of the biggest differences between the Flip5 and Flip4; now being able to run full on games, apps, and display and answer messages and notifications, making it a really convenient smartphone for portability and comfort.
even though this phone has a lot of great things to offer at an now lower price thanks to the second-hand market, it has certain weak points that make it a phone to even doubt to buy.
firstly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, even though powerful; tends to overheat over not-so light use. this point worsens even more considering it's little 3700mah battery, which gives around 5-6 hours of screen time.
secondly, even though you can take selfie photos with your main camera thanks to the big external display; the actual selfie camera can be quite disappointing.
thirdly, as one of the most well-known weak points of foldable phones is it's durability; it is a phone you have to take constant care. the crease can become certainly notable after half a year or a year of use. and, if the screen (hopefully) doesn't break, the screen protector will start peeling off, which is the ideal.
this phone is rather great, but there are drawbacks.Pros- Design

In my opinion, it's a very nice phone. Very comfortable, but I feel the only advantages I see are two: the hinge, which, if I use it for more than a year, will break, and the screen. I feel like it will break with any fall. If you have it, it's excellent.

View answers - AutoA good phone, but not for daily use
It's an excellent phone, but it doesn't work for daily use. The internal screen breaks easily, the factory film isn't good, and the accessories are very expensive. It gets very hot and very easily. Aside from these problems, it's a phone that delivers good photos on the main cameras, sound and image quality. The processor delivers a lot in games, but over time, the more demanding ones start to choke.

High performance, bold and futuristic design. Front screen with absurd resolution. Numerous configuration options to customize the phone to your profile. For those who are creative, there are no limits to reinventing. Negative side: Genshin Impact runs at maximum graphics, but the device heats up absurdly after about 15 minutes of play. For the GPS, it also heats up, but at an acceptable temperature

Score
- 8.2 Design & Materials
- 7.7 Performance & Hardware
- 6.5 Camera
- 7.9 Connectivity
- 5.2 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
