  • The phone is not working with Jio sim. India region not compatible as per Sony.

The phone does not have India region compatibility. With Jio sim only Internet works. No call & sms. Sony does not support.

  • I bought this phone on Shopee, im interested coz of its compact, waterproof and has tough screen.

Overall is excellent, only the signal frequency's is the problem. It has only band 1 and 3 no band 41. What kimovil put in there info about the phone has band 41 but I tested it and no band 41 (2500mhz). Better edit your info no band 41.

No moisture protection! Glitchy! It's almost impossible to use without suffering.

A phone without updates from the box is very buggy (it’s possible you can update via VPN, but I didn’t have time to try before drowning: the camera crashes when you try to zoom and closes the application, if you don’t make sure that the photos are saved, you can be left without pictures, the video doesn’t always start to be recorded, but it can only be recorded for half a second. After 7 months of use, the ability to make a call to someone began to disappear (from time to time), I thought that MTS was acting up, but no, the same SIM card works well on another phone. The keyboard cannot remember the copied elements so that paste them in another application (you have to pin them). When switching between applications, in 90% of cases the work session in the previous open application is lost, which makes work difficult or many everyday tasks become impossible. No multitasking. When playing music on any bluetooth headset in sleep mode, the sound at some point (in different ways) is interrupted and the player in the tray closes. You have to open the playback application again and look for the place where it was interrupted. And most importantly: there is no declared IP68 protection against dust and moisture! Not even IP56! When immersed in 30 cm of fresh water for 2-3 minutes, he gained so much moisture into himself, as if there was emptiness there. It was not possible to dry it to the point of massive oxidation of the insides. The display stopped showing the image, only black backlight. The official Sony service refused warranty repairs because... it was not officially delivered to Russia. There are no spare parts in Russia, it is not possible to simply repair it. Sony Xperia Ace 3 is not worth even its small money for modern smartphones. The only recommendation for purchase is that you need a small size for a minimum budget with not the worst performance. The phone works quickly, but the company’s lies about moisture protection deprived me of the device and the 16,000 rubles for which I purchased it. I'm leaving Sony

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
