- Overrated. Absolutely not worth it. Do not recommend at any cost.
Coming from a pixel 6, this is my review:
I bought the phone after I saw the positive reviews here and also the review of GSMArena. I was utterly disappointed.
The cameras is below par. The pixel 6 is way beter in every senario. Miss the pixel 6 photos.
The battery is weak and can't hold a day. I saw the review of the battery on GSMARENA and was excited, but find out that the battery is rubbish in real life. I use 60HZ refresh rate, and the resolution is down to 1080P instead of 2k, using only wifi and everything else is deactivated, and with battery saver on along with dark mode, I barely get 6 hours SOT with no more than 12 hours of use. The standby time is catastrophic nearly 20% over night. Even my pixel 6 had a better battery backup. This is my biggest disappointment.
The wifi coverage is weak and intermittent unlike my huawei p30 pro from same spot.
Bloatwares everywhere even after I uninstalled most of them using adb.
The system is complex and not user-friendly.
I do not recommend.Pros- Speakers wow

View answers - Excellent all arounder. Not perfect, but certainly worth considering!
Pros: The device can handle anything you throw at it. The cameras are great, but not perfect, absolutely insane charging time ( my timing 18.37 minutes), excellent build quality and design in my opinion. Almost perfect all arounder that has a lot offer at a reasonable price point. Recommended.
Drawbacks. Tons of chinese apps that can't get rid of easily, Origin OS somewhat complicated, yet superior to outdated FunTouch in most ways. Gimble calibration not perfect. Battery life is a bit short. Updating firmware and security features intended for China.Pros- Great all-arounder.
Cons- Not a perfect all-arounder.

very good in everything. best high-end smartphone 2022. 1500 charge cycles more than double the industrial standard which is 800 cycles 2 years. vivo provides 4 years with one charge per day. exceptional photo. autonomy far above the average for high-end. The 8 gen 1 is optimized to perfection. Heats very little to 45 degrees maximum. In wifi 5 I reach 523 mbps and in 5g 832 mbps in burgundy. Screen at the top which varies from 1 to 120 Hz and touch sampling 1000 Hz. in the sun the smartphone is very readable. SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT
Pros- everything
Cons- ip54 and USB 2.0

Score
- 8.4 Design & Materials
- 8.3 Performance & Hardware
- 8.5 Camera
- 7.8 Connectivity
- 6.6 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
