Excellent foldable phone, very good build quality, top-notch camera, high performance, modern operating system

I've owned the turquoise X Fold 6 for two weeks now, in the smallest storage configuration. The device is even better made than its predecessor; the included case for the back and hinge is high-quality, matches the case color, and has a non-slip texture. The operating system offers many options for using the foldable in a variety of ways. Both displays are bright, largely identical in color, and very bright. The processor is slightly throttled to support the smartphone's capabilities. The rear cameras are excellent, the front camera only average. The advantage of the foldable is that you can use the rear camera for selfies, which then produce very good results. The casing is protected against splashes, dust, and cold. The hinge is sturdy, and the buttons are firmly seated in the matte frame. The back of this model is made of glass, which shimmers lighter or darker depending on the light. The option to further increase the zoom capability with a telephoto extender is worth mentioning. Native zoom of approximately 8.7x, 17x, and 34x still deliver very good results; even 68x can often be convincing in daylight.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
