  • Good but with drawbacks

Everything about the phone is great same for the chipset but it's the throttling that holds it back genshin starts at avg 55fps but drops to 40 after a while phone gets real hot i bought a phone cooler just to solve this issue and it's now more stable

  • Great flagship, poor battery life

Everything is excellent, screen looks bright and high detailed, photos are amazing, selfies are okay but there's gcam it'll make it way better, performance for social media use is snappy everything is flying, i was hoping this smartphone will be my main for a long time, but I'll keep my poco f3 for gaming, the battery life sucks very badly
I recommend it if you don't play demanding games
But for gamers : choose the 12t pro it's better when it comes to gaming and battery life

  • A Xiaomi flagship letdown for the price

This has been my third Xiaomi "flagship" phone (after Mi 8 and Mi 10) and yet is the biggest disappointment ever for me.. I really believe this phone should have been priced as a mid-ranger. I actually paid for the phone and accompanying gifts and still wished I never bought it in the first place. Although construction-wise is a very handsome phone, everything else is so mediocre: The sound is so low, both in calls and in media through the speaker. Honestly now, what is the use of Harman Kardon touch-up, if you need to be in a considerably silent environment to hear your caller, or even music on YouTube/Music app.. Miui Global 13.0.16/Android 12 is unnecessarily packed with funny features and the UX is worse than before. Example 1: It was the first time that I was unable to set my own notification wav file on my first attempt! For some reason it kept changing the ringtone to it too :( Example 2: The Google newsfeed does not adapt to the device theme rendering the letters unreadable! The battery is discharging considerably fast. I would prefer a better battery/power management than the 120W brick. The phone gets hot even when playing strategy games for a while. In Android Auto over cable, there have been issues of errors in connection , sound management and even the phone was unresponsive until I forced it to soft reset on a black screen !!! Day-time photos and videos are pretty crisp, but Mid-rangers can perform there equally well. I cant really feel the benefit of the screen quality. Sometimes I think the screen doesn't respond to my taps as as swiftly as it should. Lastly, I really hate the floating magnification/quick settings toggle that gets almost every time in the way. Lastly the phone isn't considered fast in its performance, despite the test results..

    Pros
    • Looks/Built quality
    • Quick fingerprint sensor
    Cons
    • Sound is very low (both in calls and media playing)
    • Miui 13 - Mi apps underperforming
    • Battery discharge rate
    • Device gets warm pretty often
    • Unacceptable Android 12 issues
    • Miui soft screen-toggle buttons very annoying

It's a Swiss army knife, but delicate

It's a great cell phone, it meets expectations well for those who use it for many things. But the problem is with this screen with curved edges, the hydrogel film doesn't stick well, causing air gaps and dirt to accumulate and the first fall I had on the cell phone, which had a resistant cover, but unfortunately it fell on its side and cracked the screen. curve causing the display to burn as well. So I didn't like the curved screen experience. The curved edge is just aesthetic because with the screen on, this part of the edge doesn't turn on either, it's limited.

    Pros
    • wifi
    • infra-red
    • sound at the top and bottom
    • agile execution
    • extremely fast charging
    • thin and light
    Cons
    • improve pixel density
    • improve the selfie camera
    • improve the camera for night environments
    • cell phone heats up with heavy games
    • unused curved edge screen
    • improve sound volume

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
