Nice Mobile, Powerful but Low Battery

Its battery is bad despite having a good processor for battery performance, the screen and audio is great although I would like it to be heard better, the camera is even better than my old mobile, a Mi 10T Pro

    MIUI ruins the phone

The 12X is great, decent cameras, good size, great performance and battery life, I wouldn't have anything to complain about if it wasn't for MIUI which is getting worse and worse, with more bloatware, ads in system apps, gesture navigation stuck in the launcher default, among other crap that nobody asked for, it just gets in the way and you can't uninstall/deactivate it. Worst of all is that there are no custom rom options to change, I miss the Pixel Experience, I'm tired of Xiaomi and I'm going to sell my 12X, unfortunately I only recommend it for undemanding users who don't mind these things.

    Ideal Device

Fine-tuning for yourself, all unnecessary applications can be removed if desired, juicy, bright, smooth screen, the battery holds a decent charge (I have enough for 32-34 hours with 4.5-5 hours of screen time), it fully charges in 40 minutes (if you do not use while charging), loud stereo speakers, cool camera, stable, powerful processor. Everything in it is good. For some, the lack of wireless charging will be a minus, but for me it didn’t rest anywhere, because. From the native unit it charges quickly and does not bother. The main disadvantage is the inability to use the Xiaomi dialer ... And so the top for your money.

The most uncomfortable phone, minimalism to the point of not being comfortable.

I thought I'd get used to it. But no. You get used quickly to the good, and this is so, lost money. I do not recommend.

Weak autonomy! Inconvenient form factor for a pocket, too high (I don’t understand).

Battery shit!!!! Very quickly degraded in a year, 20-30 percent flew off !!!! No wireless charging!!! But the main thing for some reason is too high or long xs how to understand correctly (((((((The price is not happy for this shit

overall good with some compromises on display and camera color rendition

Cons -Battery with real capacity around 4200/4300 instead of 4500 -autonomy that drops by 30/40% in 4g compared to wifi, you go from 8/9 hours of screen time in wifi to a maximum of 5 in 4g/5g with very low brightness, lately in wifi I have not exceeded 6 hours -My video always sends notifications of recommended videos despite having deactivated everything (PS I also blocked the connection but it continues anyway) -No headphone jack -macro camera not very useful since putting the main at 2x yes it also sees better even if you have to move further away - poor quality wide angle to be used only in cases of extreme necessity (however the colors are faithful) - vibration feedback does not feel good when writing - good fingerprint sensor but I was better off with the side sensors more precise and I could use it with other fingers besides the thumb since I always find it scratched and therefore it never works well -ridiculous display color calibration, I had to fiddle with it quite a bit to make the colors are decent, the red is very washed out and the green too accentuated therefore white tending towards green, excessive contrast - optical stabilization via ois in the videos only available at 1080 30fps - main camera that does not know what red colors are, reproduces them tending towards orange the same for the selfie, instead the wide angle correctly reproduces the red -optimized charging that never works -impossible to deactivate the charging at 67w when it is not needed -slow motion 960 fps records a normal part and a part at 960 fps and you can never capture the right moment to slow down because he decides - very protruding cameras, they make him wobble too much when leaning etc .. Pros - excellent audio - good fluidity-quite compact, it fits well in the hand being in a certain sense compact compared to the current average size on the market -fast both the 4g+ and 5g modem -quite good main camera -nfc etc..

    Pros
    • great audio

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
