- Amazing Phone with unique design and one of best Battery life due to Samsung E6! (honest review)
So I don't post a lot of reviews. I tried almost all flagship and mid-range models. I even tried Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra, and I find myself liking 13 Pro more than rest of phones. One of my last reviews was about Mi 5 which I had for almost 3 years, and i think its important cause Xiaomi usually has this good phone once every 2 to 3 years. After that phone, I had a Mi 8 (1.5 y) and Mi 11 as daily driver (almost 2y), and I was long time looking for a really good and similar phone. To me, this is one of the most complete and most underrated Xiaomi phones ever! Why?
Because it's only Xiaomi in the world which comes with the Samsung E6 panel, which has LTPO 4.0 tech, it means a lot, because phone really shine when it comes to screen quality and, at the same time, this is one of most battery friendly screen ever! I really like Samsung panels and I don't like the fact that newer Xiaomi phones use TCL C7/C8 panels, they consume much more power and their colors and gray uniformity is very bad compared to 13 Pro and Samsung E6 panel! So this phone has one of the best screen (to me, with reason!). Next Build quality, this is one of the last Ceramic phones! I really don't like the feeling of Ultra's with that Silicone back they call leather, to me it feels cheap for such a premium phone! So this 13 Pro is definitely one of the most premium phone ever made. You will feel it in hand! I can't describe it but it is so special. Also, it have scratch proof (back panel), and due to very good housing, haptics (vibrations), is the best on the market!
Way better than 14 Ultra for example..
Next, when we talk about sound, there is better, but this will do the job great. It has some bass, very good vocals (mids) and also high. It doesn't distort at max vol, and it gets quite loud, no complain. Cameras are still one of the best with Leica tuning and a 1" Sony IMX 989 sensor! There are also two Samsung JN1 (tele and uw lenses). They will do amazing jobs, portret's are one of the best!Pros- Amazing Build Quality (Ceramic Back)
- One of best and very efficient Samsung E6 screen
- Best of best haptics engine
- Unique design and look
- Very good well balanced stereo sound
- Amazing baterry life, 2 days normal use
Cons- Very slippery if used without case
- Brightness adjustments are not smoothest
- Zoom above 20x are almost useless
- Sometimes can get little bit too hot (really rare)
- Front camera could be better
- Very very hard to find Global version

I bought the Xiaomi 13 Pro instead of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro since they didn't have it in the spec I wanted.
Biggest mistake ever.
The phone was amazing up until the release of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
Around that time, my 13 Pro got an update and it absolutely ruined the phone.
The main camera is great, it can do 3x Losless zoom, the telephoto camera is good for macros and at native zoom but lacks past 5x.
After the 13 Pro got updated, the battery life halfed, the camera worsened (Portrait mode), the UI itself ran like it was lubricated with sandpaper and the apps started crashing and loading slowly.
The next 2-3 updates fixed nothing.
I sold the phone after 6 months of ownership for half of it's original value.
I highly recommend anyone to stay away from the 13 Pro and Xiaomi as a whole, since the 13 Pro is my 4th Xiaomi device in under 2 years.Pros- Great main camera
- Great video quality
- Decent screen
- Amazing gaming performance
Cons- Horrible Battery life
- Sucky zoom camera
- Unoptimized and unstable UI
- Portrait modes
- HDR which does virtually nothing
- Horrible value retention

Score
- 8.6 Design & Materials
- 8.1 Performance & Hardware
- 8.7 Camera
- 8.6 Connectivity
- 6.9 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
