  • A very good phone for its price in my country.

It has a very good camera, in my opinion even better than the iPhone 16, I dropped it once in a dirt road and it didn't even had a scratch, and the performance is excellent.

  • Good for everyday use, but not if you want a lot from the software (in that case just stick to Samsung phones)

Jumping from a budget Samsung phone to this one, which is close to a flagship experience, it honestly shocked me to have a phone as good as this ever in my life. From out of the box, this phone is genuinely amazing compared to many other phones in the same price range (Honor 200, Oppo Reno 12 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A55). However, if you're like me, who demands a lot from the operating system then you won't feel as satisfied after around a few months of using the phone. For one, I was already used to One UI, One UI (in my opinion) is the best Android skin of all time with how they have the customization, features and the freedom of the OS, compared to 14T's HyperOS which locks the bootloader to pretty much impossible to open, lack of many basic essential features, system ads, the 10-second countdown every time you touch a setting that is just slightly sensitive and has tons of bloatware. For two, Xiaomi's release date for HyperOS has not been so promising, particularly for pushing updates way after it's promised release date and the lack of public beta testing unlike what Samsung is doing with One UI 7.

My final conclusion is that if you don't care much about the operating system and just want a phone that is powerful and can handle a few graphics demanding games as well as a fantastic camera, you should get this phone. Otherwise you'd be better off with phones from OnePlus, Samsung or maybe even Honor.

    Pros
    • Camera quality
    • Powerful chipset
    • Handles daily tasks smoothly
    Cons
    • 144hz screen is pretty much a scam
    • Operating System, update deadlines
    • Bloatware and system ads

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
