  • It is a good and a powerful phone for its price

The design is elegant, nice looking the battery also is excellent, I just got this phone and the battery seems to drain quite a bit quickly because it is new and its processing its system that is why it drains quickly and overall, I can say that it is an excellent phone for its value and its really a great phone. It also gets compared a lot to flagship phones like the Iphone 17 and more flagship phones because of its performance and I think it's a great phone.

Among the best in this range

I've been using the phone for a little over a month now and I'm delighted. I'm very happy with the daily user experience and the camera. It's been a huge leap in quality compared to my previous low-to-mid-range phone. I'm no photography expert, but I think it's more than perfect for the kind of photos most users take. Its telephoto lens is particularly noteworthy and top-notch in this price range. And the NFC and eSIM are always a plus. In my case, it's the 16/256 version. Initially, it overheated, and I thought that would be its biggest drawback. However, after a few weeks, the phone hardly overheats at all (even with several hours of continuous use). The battery life has also noticeably improved. Apparently, this is normal during initial setup and after several updates, as it works more in the background. As for gaming, I'm not particularly interested in high-end games, so I haven't been able to test its performance. However, if that's your priority, there are better options in this price range. I got mine for €400 on the official Xiaomi website thanks to a sale they had in June. I think if you're looking for a phone with: great performance for everyday tasks, a very user-friendly and fluid operating system, a camera that's starting to make a difference (thanks to their collaboration with Leica), and good battery life (plus fast charging)... this is one of the best options at this price right now.

    Very good and excellent price

I loved it, very smooth, good camera, I bought it for less than 450,000 pesos at Hites, and it runs at 120fps in Arena Breakout, the most demanding game on the Play Store

I wanted a phone for gaming that also had good cameras, and this device completely fulfills that requirement. Furthermore, I don't see any major weaknesses in its general use.

The cameras are good and the power is great, the bad thing is that they haven't optimized it for my phone yet, it's limited in some games.

My first impression was the quality of the materials and the camera. Honestly, this phone exceeded all my expectations.

Highlights of the phone: • Camera: Xiaomi has done a great job with the cameras in the 17 series this time, thanks to their collaboration with Leica. There are two built-in photo modes: Leica Authentic and Leica Vibrant. Leica Authentic is designed to capture the most realistic photos possible, down to the smallest detail. Leica Vibrant adds more color and vibrancy to the photos taken with this mode activated. The zoom is excellent, featuring a highly detailed 20x zoom, with the rest being digital zoom, from 20.1x to 120x. • Screen: The AMOLED screen truly surprised me; the level of detail and resolution is captivating. The Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection works flawlessly. I've dropped it a couple of times, and the screen remains intact. • Hardware: This phone uses the MediaTek 8500 Ultra processor. I'm not a big fan of MediaTek; I have to say I was considering buying the POCO F8 Ultra before this one, but it's not bad at all. Rather, the power of this processor along with its integrated graphics surprised me. As a test, I ran Minecraft with Vibrant Visuals shaders on Ultra settings along with Actions and Stuff, and it handled everything perfectly, including its performance mode, achieving a stable 60 FPS. This surprised me. • Battery: The battery has 6500 mAh, which... well, didn't seem like much to me. But with the efficiency of the Dimensity 8500 Ultra, it easily lasts a day with battery to spare. • Software: Xiaomi recently implemented a new HyperOS update; the fluidity and intuitive navigation are brilliant, along with the AI tools it includes.

    • NPU: The CPU includes a built-in NPU, allowing you to edit photos to your liking thanks to AI, provided you know how to install it, as it's not pre-installed. However, installing it on the system only takes 2 minutes.

Pure power in a minimalist chassis

It's very powerful, it never freezes, the battery lasts a long time, it takes good photos during the day, the only problem is its price, but if like me you find it for $200 it's a steal.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
