- Good hardware but terrible Software
The battery life hardware and features are good but the software "HyperOS 2.0.6" is absolutely terrible, there are ads everywhere and in a lot of system apps you can NOT turn them off such as the FILE MANAGER which absolute infuriates me, on top of that it crashes a LOT and I mean like almost every day it crashes at random due to the highly unstable software, and it also overheats very easily but I'll chalk that up to hardware, I appreciate that it has an SD card slot and 3.5mm jack but the software is holding it back so much that I will never buy a Xiaomi phone again.

It's a decent low-mid-range phone for everyday use, but it has some significant shortcomings. It lacks an ultra-wide-angle lens, the front camera is very poor, and nighttime photos aren't great. The main camera performs well during the day, and its 120Hz AMOLED screen is excellent. The stereo sound is acceptable, and its strongest point is its battery, which lasts me all day with continuous use. Its 33W fast charging could have been faster, but it's fine. What I liked about Xiaomi is that this model displays the battery health, something no Samsung phone does.
