The Apple iPhone 15 Plus combines a sharp design with impressive specs and features for an all-around impressive device. Beginning with its design, the device features Corning Gorilla Glass on both the front and back of the device, giving it a durable and attractive look. The usable surface is at 87.6% with a OLED 6.7-inch screen that has a resolution of 1290x2796 pixels with a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and a brightness of 1000 cd/m². The device also features stereo speakers and a noise cancellation microphone.
Moving onto hardware, the Apple iPhone 15 Plus is equipped with Apple’s powerful new A16 Bionic APL1W10 (4nm) processor, paired with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB NVMe storage. On the benchmarking software AnTuTu, it got a total score of 1,470,000 and it also comes with a cooling system.
The device also features an impressive dual rear camera setup. It has a Sony iPhone 15 sensor as its main camera, capable of capturing 48 megapixel images with a pixel size of 1,000 and backed up by a CMOS BSI. It also gets a 12 megapixel wide angle and macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For the selfie camera, it gets a 12 megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture and pixel size of 1,120. There is optical stabilization (OIS), 4K video, HDR and more. It also packs a Quad Pixel sensor with an additional 12 megapixel dual telephoto lens which can get up to 10x digital zoom.4K@24/25/30/60fps videos can be recorded with support for Dolby Vision HDR (up to 60fps). Furthermore, there is a cinematic mode for 4K@30fps recording.
The device has solid connectivity as well, with Bluetooth 5.3, Dual SIM, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and eSIM. It also has a decent battery, with a capacity of 4912mAh that supports fast charging at 20.0W and wireless charging.
