Description
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is a high-end Android smartphone from Asus, released in April of 2023. The device is part of the Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) series and is the successor to the previous Asus ROG Phone 7, providing gamers with more features for an even better experience.
The design of the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is impressive with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a usable surface of 81.8%. On the back, it has a 2" OLED display as well as a triple camera comprised of a Sony IMX766 50.0Mpx standard lens, an Omnivision OV13B10 wide angle lens and a Samsung S5K5E9 5.0Mpx macro lens. It also has a front selfie camera featuring a Omnivision OV32C 32.0 MPx lens, f/2.5 and a pixel size of 0.700.
The device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (4nm) processor with 16GB of RAM LPDDR5X and 512GB of UFS Storage 4.0, boasting an AnTuTu (v9) performance of 1333600. Security is provided by Fingerprint Display and additional gaming buttons as well as a cooling system. Asus also includes an AeroActive Cooler 7 within the box.
As for audio, this phone offers a very interesting set of options. It has stereo speakers and Hi-Res Audio with noise cancellation microphone, DTS / DTS X. It also has symmetrical dual front-facing speakers with Dirac HD Sound and a 5-magnet stereo speaker with Cirrus Logic amplifier. Hi-Res Audio is supported up to 384 kHz / 32-bit for 3.5mm output. The screen is an AMOLED 6.78" 1080x2448 (FHD+) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 cd/m² and HDR10+.
In terms of connectivity, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is quite advanced with Bluetooth 5.3, Dual SIM, NFC, Audio Jack, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), GPS (L1+L5), 5G bands N18, N26 and N40 not available in JP. It has a huge 6000mAh battery that supports 65.0W fast charge and reverse charging.

I like this phone. This is what I've been waiting for a long time. It is easy to use, takes good pictures and videos. And what pleased me the most, and this is exactly why I took it, was its performance and a screen of 165 hertz. Well, there is one thing that I did not like, so this is the quality of the screen itself. As for me, the number of pixels (380) is not enough. The phone is productive and has a large screen hertz, but the very quality of the screen upset me, to be honest. I like this phone. It's what I've been waiting for a long time. It's convenient to use, takes good photos and videos. And what pleased me the most, and exactly why I bought it, is its performance and 165Hz screen. Well, there is one thing that I didn't like, and that's the quality of the screen itself. In my opinion, the number of pixels (380) is not enough. The phone is high-performing and has a high refresh rate screen, but the screen quality itself disappointed me, to be honest.
