Design & Materials The first thing that catches the eye about the Google Pixel Fold is its sleek and sophisticated design. With a foldable display, this smartphone takes versatility to a whole new level. When unfolded, the Pixel Fold measures at 139.7 x 158.7 x 5.8 mm, offering a generous usable surface of 79.3%. The inclusion of Smooth Display technology allows for a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, providing smooth scrolling and responsiveness.

In terms of durability, the Google Pixel Fold lives up to expectations. It features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on both sides, making it resistant to scratches and accidental drops. The device is crafted with a sturdy aluminum alloy frame, combining elegance with robustness. Furthermore, the Pixel Fold's foldable display is protected by Ultra Thin Glass with a protective plastic layer, ensuring longevity even with repeated folding and unfolding.

Audio quality is paramount in a high-end smartphone, and the Google Pixel Fold doesn't disappoint. Equipped with stereo speakers, this device delivers rich and immersive sound that enhances the user's multimedia experience. Whether you're streaming music or watching your favorite movies, the audio quality on the Pixel Fold is unparalleled.

Hardware Under the hood, the Google Pixel Fold is powered by the mighty Google Tensor G2 processor, built on a 5nm architecture. This powerhouse ensures seamless multitasking, smooth app launches, and a lag-free user experience. With 12GB of RAM, the Pixel Fold provides ample memory for even the most demanding tasks.

Storage options on the Pixel Fold come in two variants: 256GB and 512GB. This abundance of storage space allows users to store an extensive library of apps, photos, videos, and more without worrying about running out of space. The UFS Storage 3.1 technology ensures lightning-fast transfer speeds, making file transfers a breeze.

For security, the Google Pixel Fold features a fingerprint sensor integrated into the side of the device. This ensures quick and secure access to your phone, providing peace of mind without compromising convenience. Additionally, the Pixel Fold is equipped with a cooling system, keeping the device cool even during intensive usage.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
