- Liking it a lot so far. Fingerprint works well albeit slowish
Had an Edge 40 a year ago and sold due to short updates remaining, but really liked it..Just saw this Edge 60 on eBay, new condition no box, for silly £192 price, so thought was time to retry Motorola after not feeling my newish Pixel 8 with dumb unreliable fingerprints making me grind my teeth, again, with Pixel devices. Happy to say the fingerprint scanner works ok in low light/dark conditions, however firm pressing is required followed by 2 second login delay. Face login works fine and quickish during the day and in lower (but not very low) light. Scrolling is super smooth, very similar to iPhone smooth. So far received two updates in just a few weeks, so far so good with that. Hand, build and usage feel are really good and the screen is probably the most clear, punchy and bright on any phone I've used, even compared to iPhone 13 PMx. Moto UI is way nicer to use than bloated Hyperos on a X7 Pro I just got rid of. This is a really nice phone for ordinary non gaming use cases and curved screen complaints from some just don't detract from how nice this phone is to use.
Pros- Great design putting major brands to shame
- Fantastic screen - I like curved edge visually
- Sd card slot(storage phobia begone!)
- Super light/hand feel
- Charging speed
- Smooth scrolling
Cons- Antutu
- Picture over processing/tinting
- UI MTK7300 feels it's price
- Occasional sluggishness with picture manipulation eg cropping/annotating
- Screen protector issues
- Slow android version updates

View answers - Good phone, but the edges ruin the experience
The curved screen makes it uneasy in the hands. Also they are quite noticeable in therms of 'shadow' that appears near the edge.
Good camera, both normal and zoom, very close to a Samsung S25+ my friend have.
Good image stabilization in all 'normal' video format supported (4K@30, 1080p@60, 720@120)
More than decent in low light, will always be good to take pictures at dinner, night event, street festival etc.
battery seems to last super long, for now.Pros- camera
