Design & Materials The Poco C85 boasts a modern design with a large LCD IPS screen measuring 6.90 inches, providing users with an immersive viewing experience. The screen resolution of 720x1600 (HD+) ensures crisp and clear visuals, while the high refresh rate of 120 Hz guarantees smooth scrolling and gaming. With a brightness of 450 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1500:1, the display on the Poco C85 delivers vibrant colors and sharp details.

In terms of materials, the Poco C85 features a combination of glass and plastic, offering durability and a sleek look. The usable surface of the device is an impressive 85.52%, providing users with ample screen real estate for their daily tasks. Additionally, the Poco C85 comes equipped with a noise cancellation microphone, ensuring clear audio quality during calls and recordings.

Hardware Under the hood, the Poco C85 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, providing smooth performance for everyday tasks and multitasking. With options for either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, users can expect seamless operation and faster app loading times. The device also comes with either 128GB or 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, giving users plenty of space to store their photos, videos, and apps. For those who require additional storage, the Poco C85 supports external SD cards.

On the AnTuTu benchmark test (v10), the Poco C85 scored an impressive 262,000, showcasing its solid performance capabilities. In terms of security, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, allowing users to unlock their device quickly and securely.

Camera The Poco C85 sports a dual-camera setup, with a primary camera featuring a Samsung S5KJNS sensor with 50.0 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.8. This allows users to capture detailed and sharp images in various lighting conditions. The secondary camera utilizes a Smartsens sc080cs sensor with 0.8 megapixels, providing additional depth and detail to photos. Battery One of the standout features of the Poco C85 is its massive 6000mAh battery, providing users with long-lasting power for extended usage. The device supports fast charging technology, allowing users to top up their battery quickly with the included 33.0W charger.

Summary In conclusion, the Poco C85 offers a compelling package for budget-conscious consumers looking for a reliable smartphone with decent performance and features. The device's large battery capacity and efficient processor ensure smooth operation throughout the day, while the fast charging feature allows users to quickly recharge their device when needed. However, the camera quality may not be up to par with higher-end smartphones, and the lack of 5G connectivity may be a drawback for some users. Overall, the Poco C85 is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and affordable smartphone with excellent battery life and regular software updates.

    Good, nice, and affordable

A low-end phone, just for everyday work use without high demands. I tested PUBG Mobile and it runs smoothly on low settings. The cameras are decent, but it's not for demanding users. Aesthetically, it looks good. It's somewhat large and comes with pre-installed apps that need to be uninstalled or disabled for smoother performance and a cleaner system.

    Good phone for the price.

I bought this phone a month and a few days ago for about $119. I thought it would be bad because of the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't received HyperOS 3 yet, but I was supposed to get it. The camera quality is good during the day, but terrible at night. As for games, it runs most well. I haven't tried demanding games like Genshin Impact or Call of Duty with maxed-out graphics, etc. I play Free Fire, and it runs very well with maxed-out graphics. It's a bit heavy, but you get used to it once you have it. The audio quality is excellent. The only thing the phone is missing is wireless charging, but overall, I recommend it.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
