Technical sheet of POCO M4 Pro 5G
Poco M4 Pro 5G, the mobile that stands out in the mid-range
Poco is always synonymous with value for money, terminals with very interesting features and a very attractive price. The Poco M4 Pro 5G was not going to be less, we are faced with a mobile with a 6.6-inch IPS screen with a FullHD + resolution and a brightness of 450 cm / m2, something better than the previous Poco M3 Pro but not remarkable either. The refresh rate is 90 Hz and a tactile response of 240 Hz, improving the 180 Hz of the Poco M3 Pro.
A terminal built in plastic, with 195g of weight and dimensions of 163.6mm in height, 75.8mm in width and 8.7mm in thickness, we cannot say that it is a preciously small terminal. The design continues the range of the current Redmi (we are facing a variant of the Chinese Redmi Note 11), brings the rear cameras in a black grill, and is presented in three colors, black, yellow and cyan.
The NFC is present, something that is appreciated in its range, bluetooth version 5.1, wifi 2GHz and 5GHz and support for 5G networks, with a large number of bands. In this section there are also small surprises such as the 3.5mm jack, the FM radio, and the infrared port.
A mobile with a processor that does not disappoint
Its Dimensity 810 processor is a good benchmark in terms of power and price, since for a terminal that is classified as a mid-range, we have an Antutu score of more than 350,000 points in its version 9. It has two versions of 4GB / 64GB and 6GB / 128GB both are LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 respectively. If the storage is not enough, you can use the expansion slot, yes, it consists of losing the second SIM slot.
Cameras that don't stand out
The Poco incorporates 2 sensors on its back, although it seems to have four. The main one with 50 Mpx is a Samsung S5KJN1, a very simple sensor that defends itself in good light, but from which we cannot ask for great results in low light conditions or if we want good detail in the photos. It is accompanied by an 8MP Sony IMX355 wide-angle sensor that also behaves well in light situations but loses as soon as we are in low light conditions.
We are facing a generous 5000mAh battery, more than enough to not leave us stranded at any time, and also with its 33W fast charge we can charge it in about an hour. Logically we do not find wireless charging in a terminal of its range.

There is not need supporting all bands for having coverage in the different types of networks. For example, if it does not support one band, could make you not to have 4G coverage in rural areas or having bad coverage inside buildings, but having it without problems in cities.Report an error.

FHD+ screen with 60 or 90Hz refresh rate, 6.6' IPS LCD panel. Mediatek processor enough power for day to day. 6 Gb of RAM expandable to 8 Gb. Stereo sound, but the upper speaker is heard very softly. It doesn't stand out to my taste. 5g connectivity, NFC, infrared, Jack 3.5, Will update to Miui 14 confirmed (Android 13). 5g (if your area and operator offers it). 5000Mhz battery. You end the day with 35-20%. Deluxe 33W fast charge. Resistant to small falls without problem in two months that I use it. 128GB of internal memory is the minimum recommended. Between system and updates it removes 30-40 GB of internal memory in 2 months (if you use many applications). By 2023, a minimum of 256Gb will be necessary if you like to store photos and videos regularly and forget to delete anything. I recommend installing a file manager from the Play Store, to download movies from uTorrent or BitTorrent. VLC to play videos on all Xiaomi (poco and Redmi included), to skip the copyright that comes with the Xiaomi file manager and player from the factory. The keyboard works well and the fingerprint reader on the perfect side. I haven't noticed any major bugs with the Poco software in the time I've been using it and it runs fast and smooth on a day-to-day basis. The 4g model if I recommend it 100%. I would not recommend this 5g model for "demanding users" for these reasons: average screen, insufficient brightness outdoors, plasticy back cover and average camera. Wifi fair range (compared to note 8pro and note 9s). It seems big and heavy in the hand, I prefer slightly smaller and less heavy models (6.5 or 6.3 inches). If you come from a low range you will love everything, because it is functional and nothing is missing. Do not even think about buying a mobile with less than 300,000 minimum power and 6 GB of Ram, with less than 4,500-5,000 battery and discarding all with less than 128Gb of internal memory.Pros

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
