It's an excellent device for gaming for what you're paying.

It's a spectacular device for its price. The Dimensity 9400e is incredibly powerful, but when playing PUBG Mobile Global at 120 fps in a closed room (29°C, 35% humidity), it reaches 43°C after 10 minutes and drops to 90 fps (or 60 fps if the heat persists); it requires an external fan to maintain a stable 120 fps. In contrast, at 90 fps, it performs flawlessly for hours from 100% to 0% without external cooling or any stuttering, even with only 5% battery remaining. The frame rate transition is imperceptible. Unlike Qualcomm, which is protective of its licenses in Chinese models (my previous iQOO Neo 10 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 performed terribly, crashing and getting stuck at 90 fps), MediaTek prioritizes global compatibility in its 8000 and 9000 series. In this iQOO Neo 10 Pro (Dimensity 9400), the 120 fps offered by the Play Store is either unlocked out of the box or unlocked within a few days, making MediaTek the best option for importing. Tip: If you log in with your Realme account to the system and activate GT Mode, the setup wizard allows you to manually map the CPU/GPU cores (without GT Mode, the option is grayed out). Battery and Charging: Its 100W charger automatically reduces to 80W with Mexico's 127V voltage. It's still very fast charging, but it generates less thermal stress and extends battery life. System and Networks: You can set the system language to Spanish using SetEdit. The few remaining Chinese apps are not used in Mexico; most are uninstalled, and protected ones can be disabled and hidden in the settings. Connectivity works flawlessly, including the main and most powerful bands available in Mexico.

Cameras and Everyday Use: The cameras perform very well for its price range and type of device. The system is smooth for daily use. It had a rare bug where the power button wouldn't turn on the screen on the first press (it required two presses), but this has been fixed with the latest patches. It's not an ultra-premium high-end device in terms of daily optimization, but it's excellent for gaming.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
