    My experience with the device

Experience with the A41 from Samsung: Display: The display of the A41 is a good Super Amoled (Oled) display, which I can't complain about myself. However, I myself expect 90 or 120Hz in this price range. I find 60Hz a bit too little myself, since cheaper cell phones like the Oppo a54 5g 90Hz or the Xiaomi Redmi note 10 Pro offer 120Hz. Processor: The processor is a relatively good processor in this price range. In my Geekbench 5 test, it achieved the following results: Single Core: 297 points Multi Core: 1186 points. In my opinion, these are mediocre. I would describe the everyday performance as good/average to a bit weak. Camera: The phone's camera shoots nice and quite good pictures during the day, which I really can't complain about. However, the quality of the night pictures is rather less good. For me, the price range also lacks a night mode, which one can actually expect. All I can say about the front camera is that I wouldn't necessarily describe it as very good myself. I find them rather average for the price. Battery: The battery is a pretty good battery that gets me through a day without a full charge. A small stop at the charging cable is still necessary for me sometimes. Conclusion: The Samsung Galaxy A41 is partly convincing for me, but also partly less. Points of criticism are the night pictures and the processor performance, which shows a rather moderate performance in Geekbench 5. You get more than this phone offers for a little less money. The positive points are the daily pictures, as well as the display, which scores for me with a high resolution and a good size. In general, I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy A41 to users who do not demand very much from a cell phone and prefer to make calls and take a good picture or two.

Terrible touch screen and poor quality photos

Pros: - very good battery life - screen displaying beautiful colors - efficient networks Cons: - very poor touch screen, you have to click several times to confirm a choice - blurry or no-contrast daytime photos and totally black night photos (my old S7 took much better photos) - Samsung updates removing useful features (including dual SIM which disappeared in January 2022 WTF) - SIM+SD drawer often in poor contact (2 SIM burnt out and one SD burnt out in 18 months )

    Pros
    • very good autonomy
    • screen displaying beautiful colors
    • efficient networks (captures very well in 4G)
    Cons
    • very bad touch screen, you have to click several times to validate a choice

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
