Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 – the Next Generation Tablet for 2021

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is the next generation of Samsung’s tablet lineup and is set to become a high-end device. It is part of their series of tablets which includes the Ultra, the S8+ and now, the S8.

The new iteration has a 11-inch TFT LCD (IPS) display with a resolution of 2560x1600 (WQHD+), 120 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 500 cd/m2 (typical). It also has a usable surface area of 83.2%. The tablet is also lightweight and compact as it is made from aluminium alloy and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 covering.

On the audio front, the Galaxy Tab S8 comes equipped with stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos. It also has four speakers for a better experience.

The powerhouse of the Galaxy Tab S8 comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4nm) processor with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB with UFS Storage 3.1. On AnTuTu v9, it scores 1039906.

The camera system consists of a dual camera setup. There is a standard 13.0Mpx f/2.0 @ CMOS and a wide angle lens 6.0Mpx f/2.2. For selfies, there is a 12.0Mpx f/2.4 shooter and 4K video recording capabilities.

The connectivity features of the Galaxy Tab S8 include Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6 (802.11ax). It also has an 8000mAh battery with 45.0W fast charge technology.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is expected to be released in February 2022 and should be available at premium prices. The combination of cutting-edge specs and design make this tablet one of the top contenders for the year 2021.
