Since its inception in 2011, the Samsung Galaxy Tab has been one of the most popular tablets on the market, offering high-end performance and features to satisfy all kinds of users. Today, Samsung has announced their latest flagship tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is an ultra-premium tablet, the highest model in the Tab S9 series. With a 14.60-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2960x1848 (WQHD+), refresh rate of 120 Hz, peak brightness of 1750 cd/m², and a 3000000:1 contrast ratio, the Tab S9 Ultra offers stunning visuals. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, allowing it to withstand drops and everyday wear and tear. The Tab S9 Ultra also offers a 90.3% usable surface, for those wanting to make the most out of their tablet.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, clocked at 3.36 GHz. It also comes with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of internal storage. The Tab S9 Ultra also supports external storage via SD cards, for those needing more space for their files. The Tab S9 Ultra also offers outstanding performance, thanks to its AnTuTu score of 1250000. To keep everything safe, the Tab S9 Ultra also includes a fingerprint display sensor.
On the back of the Tab S9 Ultra is a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13MP standard lens with an f/2.0 aperture, a pixel size of 1.000, and a CMOS sensor, as well as an 8MP wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and also a CMOS sensor. There's also a 12MP selfie camera on the front, with an f/2.4 aperture and a CMOS sensor, as well as a second 12MP ultrawide-angle camera, with an f/2.4 aperture and a 120˚ angle. Both cameras can shoot videos up to 4K resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra also offers outstanding sound quality, thanks to its stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. On the connectivity front, the tablet supports Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Host 3.0, as well as the latest WiFi 6 (802.11ax) standard. It's also worth noting that the Tab S9 Ultra comes with a massive 11200mAh battery, which supports fast charging at up to 45W.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra isn't due to be released until July 2023, however, pre-orders are already open. Alongside the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, there are two other tablets in the same series - the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+.
