  • Great phone with an unreal battery life.

The camera on this phone is ehhhh, even tho it has high megapixel count i don't think its really that good. I would say its on par with 2020 mid-range phones, before midrange phone cameras became good.

Regarding the Battery... All i can say is that i cant empty it within 5 days even if i tried. The phone lasts me 7+ days of lets say medium use (social media apps etc / calling / texting etc) (both WI-FI and Mobile Data LTE) about 3-3:30 hours of screen on time per day according to the weekly report of Digital Welbeing. It comes with 90hz out of the box with the ability to switch to 120hz. But for some reason 60hz cant be switched. If it had 60hz i think it may as well be a 12+ day phone.

One of the cons is that its very heavy and the screen in the sunlight is on par with 2020 phones. Ironically i can see better than i did with my Pixel 6 Pro.

The truth is that it is an incredible mobile phone. It REALLY meets everything. The truth is that it has surprised me.

The truth is that it has been completely worth it to me, it is a little expensive but the truth is that it is worth every penny, both its processor and battery, everything is an incredible mobile phone, it is not perfect, but what mobile phone is? The truth is that if you do not care much about the weight and space in your hand, buy it, it is really worth it.

    Hardware impressive, software needs improvement

After a week of continuous use and four battery charges, it still has 90% capacity (calculated from consumption and recharging). The camera takes either 200MP or 12MP pictures, the camera app is rather rudimentary. I therefore use Open Camera. The camping lamp is limited to 30 minutes in terms of lighting time so that the device does not overheat. The laser rangefinder app has no calibration option. Incorrect measurements cannot be avoided, a no-go for me. Screen rotation does not work with all apps. Android Auto works. The potential of the Dimensity 8200 CPU is unfortunately not fully exploited. In addition, according to MTK, this CPU has a bug classified as critical, which has not yet been fixed at this time. The screen is barely readable in sunlight, a no-go for a rugged phone. The manufacturer has unfortunately cut corners here. IMsservice unfortunately crashes frequently, the only thing that helps is deleting the app data and restarting. Unfortunately, this is not permanent. In addition, irregular reboots are a strain on the nerves, Android 13 is not really well adapted to this hardware. The last Google security update was almost half a year ago, and it hasn't been updated since it was released. After upgrading to Android 14, the device is finally running stable!

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
