    A good, fairly exotic mid-range

The Vivo V50 is primarily a smartphone designed for influencer videographers. At least, that's how vivo sells it. At the same time, the smartphone is very pleasant despite its large size, as it is very thin and relatively light. The processor is powerful enough to allow you to play video games, even if that's not its primary use. The photo quality is quite respectable, although it's a shame not to have a telephoto lens at this price. The approach to photos is unique, with support from camera manufacturer Zeiss for image processing and the smartphone's lenses. The videos are good too, although I regret that the stabilization is a little weak for my taste. As for the software interface, it is complete, extremely customizable, and a pleasant shot. 3 years of updates is not bad, with 4 years of security. With an additional year of updates, it would have been perfect.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
