The Xiaomi Redmi 12 5G is the latest mid-range smartphone release from the Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi. The phone was released in August of 2023 and is the latest addition to the popular Xiaomi Redmi series. It features a sleek design with a 6.79 inch IPS LCD screen with 1080x2460 resolution (FHD+), 90 Hz refresh rate, 550 cd/m² max brightness, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It has an 84.7% usable surface and is built with glass and plastic materials, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Redmi 12 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (SM4450) processor (4nm) and is available in 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage (UFS Storage 2.2). It also has a MicroSD slot for external storage and scored a 456552 on AnTuTu (v10). For extra security, the device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
