- AutoIt is the version with 6GB of RAM
It actually belongs to my mother, but I'm the one who sets it up for her, so I know everything about this smartphone. It's the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R 5G version with 6GB RAM (with a 2GB virtual RAM option). Technically, it works well, it's fluid, but as you can imagine, it's not used for running games, but for browsing social networks, video calls, and things like that. It has started to show certain details, such as, I use the Weex service, a mobile virtual network operator that works with the Movistar Mexico network, and I have 2 other smartphones with the same type of Weex USIM, in which one indicates a 4G connection (Rokit IO 3D PRO), and the other a LTE connection (Cubot Note 50), all ARE IMPORTED, but the Xiaomi that shows a higher signal level, when activating the data it only appears as H+ as the connection type, so it does not reach 4G, and it is supposed that at least a couple of bands are compatible with 4G, I seem to remember that before it did indicate connected to 4G, but maybe it's my imagination.
What bothers me so much about this Xiaomi is that this brand at a local level (Mexico) is ready to conspire with other companies together with the government, to excuse themselves by saying that phones that do not have their so-called NOM are risky and do not have a local warranty. Last year they were so bold as to block the phones completely, where even the government was protecting them, but when the avalanche of criticism came upon them, especially when Tecnonauta published its position against it, the government backed down and pretended that they would take action on the matter and that they "would not allow abuse" when just a week before they had made publications defending the position of local companies. The thing is that now this Smartphone shows a message every 15 minutes covering half of the screen, which cannot be avoided, that your phone is at risk, and nonsense like that. Which infuriates me.Pros- It works like any phone with its technical features
- They can be obtained cheaply
Cons- Xiaomi Mexico is garbage
- Harassment with blackmail messages
- They don't want you to buy imported cell phones
