In the ever-evolving world of smartphones, ZTE has introduced the Blade A35 Lite, a low-end device that offers essential features at an affordable price point. Launched in May 2024, this smartphone caters to users who are looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on functionality.

Design & Materials: The ZTE Blade A35 Lite sports a simple and sleek design with a polycarbonate build that ensures durability. It features a compact 4.95-inch LCD IPS screen with a resolution of 480x854, providing a basic viewing experience suitable for everyday use. The usable surface of the screen is 67.6%, allowing users to comfortably interact with the device. While the display may not offer the highest resolution or pixel density, it serves its purpose for tasks such as messaging, browsing the web, and watching videos.

Hardware: Under the hood, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T606 processor built on a 12nm architecture. This processor, although not the most powerful in the market, delivers adequate performance for day-to-day tasks such as calling, texting, and running lightweight applications. Coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, users can expect smooth operation for their essential needs. Additionally, the device supports external storage via a microSD card, providing options for expanding storage capacity based on individual requirements. In terms of performance, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite scored 95200 on the AnTuTu benchmark (v9), indicating decent performance for its class.

Camera: The ZTE Blade A35 Lite comes equipped with a standard rear camera with 2.0 megapixels, although specific details about the sensor remain undisclosed. While this camera may not offer the most advanced imaging capabilities, it is capable of capturing basic photos and videos for casual use. On the front, there is a 0.3-megapixel selfie camera, which may not produce high-quality selfies but serves its purpose for video calls and occasional self-portraits. Despite the modest camera specifications, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite remains functional for capturing memories on the go.

Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite features Bluetooth 5.2 for seamless wireless communication with compatible devices. It also supports dual SIM functionality, allowing users to manage multiple phone numbers on a single device. Additionally, the device retains the traditional audio jack, enabling users to connect their wired headphones or speakers without the need for adapters. While the connectivity options may not be the most cutting-edge, they provide essential features for staying connected in today's digital world.

Battery: Powering the ZTE Blade A35 Lite is a 2000mAh battery, which may seem modest compared to flagship smartphones with larger capacities. However, considering the device's low-power specifications, the battery capacity should be sufficient for moderate daily usage. The device supports 5.0W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge their device when needed. While the battery capacity may not offer extensive endurance, it provides adequate power for typical usage patterns.

Overall, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite caters to users seeking a basic smartphone experience without breaking the bank. With its low-end specifications, affordable price point, and essential features, this device is ideal for budget-conscious consumers who prioritize functionality over advanced technology. While it may not compete with flagship smartphones in terms of performance or camera quality, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite fulfills the needs of users looking for a reliable and cost-effective mobile device. Whether you're a student, a budget-minded professional, or someone in need of a backup phone, the ZTE Blade A35 Lite offers a practical solution for everyday communication and tasks.

It is a cheap cell phone and therefore you don't have to demand much.

For about 40 to 35 dollars, you don't have to wait long. It's not good for demanding games, obviously for easy-to-run games, for example, Clash Royale, it does run, and it's surprising for its price. It has a processor that other phones that cost almost 70 dollars share, and for social networks it works well.

    Good device

For the price-performance ratio it offers good performance, the RAM can be expanded to 4 GB and the performance is good! Even multitasking is possible and I was amazed at how good it is! Only the camera and the battery are not so great but acceptable for the price, good processor, the device is a bit small

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
