Design & Materials The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a 6.50-inch TFT LCD IPS screen with 720x1560 (HD+) resolution and a usable surface of 83%. The material used for its construction is plastic, giving it a lightweight feel. On the other hand, the A13 has a 6.60-inch TFT LCD IPS screen with 1080x2408 (FHD+) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has a usable surface of 82.8%, and its construction is also made of plastic.

Hardware The hardware of the A12 and A13 are also slightly different, with the former powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 MT6765 (14nm) processor and RAM options of 4GB, 3GB, or 6GB. The internal storage options are 64GB, 128GB, or 32GB, running on eMMC 5.1 Storage. AnTuTu (v8) scores for the A12 are 103000, and security features include a fingerprint sensor at the side. Connectivity The A12 and A13 both feature Bluetooth 5.0 and 5.2 respectively, Dual SIM and NFC, as well as an Audio Jack.

Battery A 5000mAh capacity battery powers both phones, although the A12 has a Fast charge rate of 15.0W and the A13 has a Fast charge rate of 25.0W.
