- Is enough for work
Is enough for work. When I say this, I didn't knew what I was looking for with this phone, once I had it, everything was alright but then, the phone started restarting itself, lagging out, kicking me out of apps.
the photo quality in so many apps is so bad, so bad that takes between 3-8 attempts to get a visible photo.
Gaming, the screen does looks great but, when it comes to shooters and active tapping games, it's the worst, takes between 0.5-1.00 seconds to respond and I've tried to do many things to Fix it, nothing has worked yet.
the only good thing about my experience with the phone is that it runs google, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and communication apps just good, with good I mean as long as you don't put much images, long texts and files into it, it works just enough to be good.
The wifi kicks me out every once in a while, even when data is on, once or more times in a day I'm stranded with no connection.
Overall, do not get it.
It hasn't updated in a while too.Pros- Screen

It's a lousy phone. I bought the cell phone in February and it never worked well. Applications hang, it restarts on its own, it lacks stability. I took it twice to the official service. After changing the battery, they changed the motherboard, and it still doesn't work well. Motorola washes its hands and does not want to enforce the guarantee. I would have stayed with my moto g8 power lite that worked a thousand times better. It's a glorified piece of brick with usb-c.
Pros- nothing
Cons- lousy software
- terrible technical support
- lousy guarantee
- poor quality components
- poor memory

The Motorola g42 is good but it lacks when playing roblox or ark Mobile I noticed a lot of lag and lack of optimization I hope it will be solved soon, also the battery is good it lasts me about 1 day in normal use, camera has a good camera and a Good processing with artificial intelligence, good screen but it is only full HD, very good stereo sound and the basses or basses are very notorious, in general it is a good cell phone. What I have to criticize is that it lacks more in the processor, that is, I come from a Motorola g9 play and the g9 play gave me a good performance in games like roblox and ark does not have as much lag as the g42 will it be due to the lack of optimization???

It seems to me that Motorola is doing a good job lately in a large part of its mid-range cell phones, and this is no exception, this Moto G42 offers you balanced features that are enough for the price you pay, its screen (oled 60hz) that I prefer before an lcd at 90 or 120hz because I consume multimedia content more than anything, the battery is 5000 mph that can last you for a day with medium intense use, stereo sound, the cameras are very good without standing out too much, it does not have a heavy customization layer with bugs since it has pure android with some motorola apps that enrich the experience such as gestures, and the dimensions of the phone make it very comfortable without getting tired of using it too long, the only point to consider is the processor, although this snap dragon 680 is efficient because it is up to date, it falters in performance, and I have noticed that there are certain lags when moving int erfaz, and some applications and games that require graphic loading, the phone will fall somewhat short, without being super slow of course, since 250,000 points in Antutu are enough to run the apps without problems, although with some delay in the animations and opening of the same. For the rest I think it is a value for money phone as long as it does not exceed 200 dollars if a lot.
Pros- Screen (Oled 60hz)
- Stereo sound with Dobbly Atmos effect
- cameras
- Battery (5,000 mph)
- Pure android system in its version 12
- Fast charge 20 watts (with charger in the box)
Cons- Performance
- Lag in the system
- On-screen refresh rate 60hz

View answers - AutoPerfect for not very demanding use
It is a mid-range cell phone within everything more or less cheap, but if it is not to play demanding games in high graphics (in medium graphics pulling low it goes well) or several multitasks (up to 2 or 3) it is a cell that serves as left over, with an audio that I never saw in this range and with good cameras (I look better and I see things better in the camera than in the mirror) as long as you know how to use, and configure the pro mode, it is worth noting the fingerprint I find it much more comfortable and practical than the conventional one. It is also quite resistant to falls, it fell hard once and nothing happened to it, the battery lasts a long time if you don't use it much, but if you spend all day playing quietly it can last you 6 hours. It doesn't get hot either, just charging on turbo power. It is the perfect cell phone (for my use).

Score
- 5.9 Design & Materials
- 5.8 Performance & Hardware
- 6.1 Camera
- 7.2 Connectivity
- 7.5 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
