It comes equipped with stereo speakers that deliver impressive sound quality, truly immersing users in their favorite music, movies, and games. Additionally, the device features a noise cancellation microphone and supports DTS and DTS X technologies, delivering superior audio clarity and enhancing the overall multimedia experience.

One of the standout features of the Honor Magic V2 is its foldable display. With an unfolded display size of 7.92 inches, users can enjoy a larger screen real estate for all their multimedia needs. The OLED display has a touch refresh rate of 240 Hz and a resolution of 2344x2156 pixels, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals. The outside screen size is perfect for quick tasks or glancing at notifications. The foldable design adds a new level of versatility to the device, allowing users to switch seamlessly between a smartphone and a tablet depending on their needs.

Hardware:

Under the hood, the Honor Magic V2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, built on a 4nm architecture. This powerful chipset ensures smooth performance and efficient multitasking capabilities. Paired with a massive 16GB of RAM (LPDDR5X), the device can effortlessly handle resource-intensive tasks such as gaming, video editing, and multitasking with ease.

Storage options on the Honor Magic V2 are plentiful, with choices ranging from 256GB, 512GB, and an impressive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This means users can store all their photos, videos, and applications without worrying about running out of space. To further enhance the device's performance, it boasts an AnTuTu benchmark score of 1361789, solidifying its position as a high-performance flagship smartphone.

Security is a top priority for Honor, and the Honor Magic V2 incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This placement allows for quick and convenient unlocking while ensuring the device remains secure from unauthorized access. In addition, the device features an array of thermal management solutions, including an ultra-thin VC of 0.22mm, ultra-high thermal conductivity graphite, thermal gel, and a heat dissipation copper foil. These features work in tandem with a multi-layer 3D heat dissipation system to ensure optimal temperature control, even during prolonged usage.

Camera:

The camera capabilities of the Honor Magic V2 are equally impressive. It features a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50.0MP standard lens with an f/1.9 aperture, a 50.0MP wide-angle + macro lens with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 20.0MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture. With optical stabilization (OIS) and the ability to capture 4K videos, users can expect stunning and stable footage in any situation. Additionally, the device offers a 40x digital zoom, allowing users to get up close and personal with their subjects, as well as an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 122º field of view. The macro capability of the Honor Magic V2 is exceptional, enabling users to capture intricate details from as close as 2.5cm.

For selfie enthusiasts, the Honor Magic V2 sports a 16.0MP front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture. With its high-resolution sensor, users can capture stunning selfies and enjoy crystal-clear video calls.

Connectivity:

The Honor Magic V2 embraces the latest connectivity standards to ensure a seamless user experience. It supports Bluetooth 5.3, enabling fast and stable wireless connections with other devices. Dual SIM support allows users to manage multiple phone numbers or take advantage of different network plans simultaneously. The device also features NFC capabilities, making it convenient for contactless payments and quick data transfers. WiFi 6 (802.11ax) support ensures faster and more stable wireless internet connections, while GPS (L1+L5) offers precise and accurate navigation. Additionally, the inclusion of an infrared sensor allows users to control their home appliances using their smartphone.

Battery:

Powering all these incredible features is a robust 5000mAh battery. With such a large capacity, users can enjoy extended usage without worrying about running out of power. And when it's time to recharge, the Honor Magic V2 supports 66.0W fast charging. This means users can quickly get back to enjoying their device without long periods of downtime.

In conclusion, the Honor Magic V2 is a revolutionary smartphone that brings together cutting-edge technology, premium design, and innovative features. From its foldable display to its powerful hardware and exceptional camera capabilities, it is clear that Honor has spared no expense in creating a flagship device for the high-end market. It's a foldable phone, and obviously it has folding problems, but I forgive almost all of them because it's a slim and cheap foldable phone. It's not a device for everyone, but if you know about phones, you won't be swayed by just one opinion.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
