Design & Materials

The X7 comes with a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen that offers an HD+ resolution of 720x1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood, the Honor X7 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (SM6225) processor, which is based on the 6nm process technology. This gives the X7 excellent performance, as well as great power efficiency. The phone is available with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and comes with 128GB of storage, expandable via an external MicroSD card. On AnTuTu (v9), the X7 scores an impressive 249000.

The Honor X7 comes with a fingerprint sensor, located on the side of the phone, for added security.

Camera

The Honor X7 has a quadruple camera setup, which includes a standard 48MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture and 0.8µm pixel size, a wide angle lens with 5MP resolution and f/2.2 aperture, a portrait mode depth camera with 2MP resolution and f/2.4 aperture, and a macro lens with 2MP resolution and f/2.4 aperture. For the selfie camera, the X7 offers an 8MP lens with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity

The Honor X7 comes with Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM capability, NFC, and an audio jack.

Battery

The X7 has a large 5000mAh battery, which can be charged with a fast charge of up to 22.5W.

Conclusion

The Honor X7 is a great mid-range phone for those looking for an affordable device that still has all the features they need. With its powerful hardware, impressive cameras, and large battery, the X7 is sure to please those on a budget.

    Neither fu nor fa

The Honor X7 does feel significantly better than older phones, mainly due to its 128GB of storage and the Snapdragon 680 processor, which still holds up well for daily use. It handles social media, YouTube, light multitasking, and basic games without issue. The 5000mAh battery is one of the phone's best features and easily lasts all day. The 90Hz screen also contributes to a smoother system experience, although the HD+ resolution does reduce image quality and sharpness. The cameras are average to mediocre: acceptable in daylight, but quite poor at night. To be honest, it's not exactly a "powerful" phone. It struggles with demanding games like Warzone Mobile, CarX Street, or Roblox at high settings. The 4GB of physical RAM is starting to feel insufficient these days, and virtual RAM isn't a miracle worker. Furthermore, Magic UI sometimes crashes in the background and can feel sluggish after extended use. In short: it's a decent phone for everyday use and much more usable than older low-end models, but don't expect premium performance or amazing cameras. It's still a perfectly adequate entry-level phone.

    Pros
    • Very good battery.
    • 128 GB helps a lot.
    • The 90Hz screen feels smooth
    • The Snapdragon 680 performs well for normal use
    • Acceptable fast charging
    • It runs light games and some medium-weight games without a problem.
    Cons
    • Normal cameras, nothing special.
    • Magic UI sometimes kills apps in the background
    • It already struggles in demanding games.
    • The screen brightness could be better
    • 4 GB of physical RAM starts to fall short

    Bad for 2026

It's horrible, you can't even play light games like Free Fire, when browsing or watching TikTok videos it overheats after 15 minutes and becomes very slow, in a word it's horrible.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
