The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, released in July 2020, is a mid-range smartphone from Motorola that incorporates the latest 5G technology. The phone’s design is modern and has a plastic back with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen. Additionally, the bezels of this phone are quite thin, resulting in an impressive usable surface of 83.9%.
The hardware of this device is quite good for its range. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, with LPDDR4X RAM available in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB configurations. Storage is available in 64 GB and 128 GB UFS Storage 2.1 with SD card support. Moreover, in terms of performance the AnTuTu v8 score of this phone is 306758. For biometric authentication it includes a side fingerprint sensor.
In terms of cameras, the rear camera module is quadruple, consisting of a standard 48MP f/1.7 PDAF camera with a pixel size of 0.800; a wide angle 8MP f/2.2 lens with a pixel size of 1.120; a 5MP f/2.2 macro lens and a 2MP f/2.2 depth sensor. It also supports 4K video capabilities. Furthermore, for selfies it has a 16MP f/2.0 snapper and a secondary front camera of 8MP f/2.2 with 1.12um pixel size and 118º ultra wide angle as well as a macro up to 2cm. However, its low-light performance is not the best, but can be improved with the manual camera mode.
Furthermore, the connectivity options of this device include Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM, NFC, audio jack and GPS. In addition, it has a 5000mAh battery which supports 20W fast charging and it will take you through the entire day with ease.
Overall, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is a great mid-range device with modern design, high-end hardware and 5G technology. Its main weak points are night photos and sound. Nevertheless, it has a great display quality and good battery life, making it a great choice for users looking for a mid-range smartphone.

- Nice phone, especially for 21:9'ers
My previous phone was an Honour View 20. That phone wazzes all over the Moto in terms of build quality and speed of UI. However, I like the easier one handedness and movie experience of 21:9 stretched screen ratio and after bad Xperia experiences this phone is waaay better than cheaper 21:9 Sonys. I paid £157 unmarked little used eBAY in original box etc and for this £ it's a deal all day long. Also liking the 7.5 HR SOT per GSAM app. Battery last over a day for heavyish non gaming use. The screen is however a little 'dull'/lacking vividness and very occasionally there are curious screen lags. Bad news is it doesn't seem to be getting Android 12, so yeh, Moto software attention sadly lacking

Not the best but not the worst experience either, it's an outdated phone that's 5 years old, but it hasn't aged too badly, thanks to its Snapdragon 765. Overall, it's a phone that on the stock Android 11 ROM is quite laggy with very annoying bugs, just change the ROM and be happy. Its processor can still run Android 15 well and handle some heavier games (with a cooler only because the phone catches fire). The cameras do their job, nothing special, the battery is very good even today, mine still usually does 9 to 10 hours of screen time. The 90hz screen is good overall, only the brightness is very weak, I literally can't see anything when I'm exposed to the sun.
