Nubia, a Chinese smartphone company, recently announced their latest flagship product: the Nubia Z50 Ultra. This high-end device is set to be released in March 2023 and promises to deliver a premium experience for users. The Nubia Z50 Ultra boasts a 6.8” AMOLED dual edge display with a resolution of 1116 x 2480 (FHD+) and refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also has an impressive peak brightness of 1300 cd/m² and HDR10+ support. This display is being surrounded by durable aluminium and glass materials, resulting in a usable surface area of 88.8%.

Hardware
The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 (4nm) processor along with either 8, 12 or 16GB of RAM LPDDR5X, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS Storage 4.0.
AnTuTu (v9) scores show a total of 1298693, and for added security there is a fingerprint display so users can secure their data. There’s also a 41,442mm² total heat dissipation system area for improved cooling performance.
Camera
For photography lovers, the Nubia Z50 Ultra comes with a triple camera array which includes a standard Sony IMX787 64MP f/1.6 CMOS BSI sensor, an Omnivision OV64B 64MP unknown CMOS Telephoto + portrait lens, and a Samsung S5KJN1 50MP f/2.2 ISOCELL wide angle lens. The device also features an Omnivision OV16E10 16MP selfie camera, optical image stabilization (OIS), 4K and 8K video recording, and an under-display camera. For even wider shots, there’s a 116º ultra-wide angle lens with 7P lens, allowing for close-up macro shots up to 2cm away.
Connectivity
For connectivity, the Nubia Z50 Ultra includes Bluetooth 5.3, dual SIM support, USB Host 3.0, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), GPS (L1+L5), and Infrared which should provide users with more than enough options.
Battery
The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports up to 80W fast charging, giving users enough juice to last them through the day.
