If I could get the full updates, it would be 10/10.

I use my phone a lot, for almost a year now. The bad thing is that updates don't arrive completely, and also the operating system, after so much use, starts to lag.

    Well

The OPPO A80 5G is the kind of phone you buy if durability is your priority. In other words, if you're someone who drops their phone all the time, if you work outdoors, or if you simply want a phone that will last all day without needing to be tethered to the charger. In that respect, the phone is a tank: it withstands bumps and drops, it can get a little wet (thankfully, the screen remains responsive even with wet hands), and the battery easily lasts the entire day. Plus, it comes with plenty of storage (256 GB), so you won't have any problems with photos, videos, or apps. But, to be honest, Oppo cut corners in areas that many people do care about: The screen is its weakest point: It's an HD+ display. It's perfect for social media and chats, but if you like watching videos, series, or movies, you'll notice that it's not as sharp or as vibrant as other phones in the same price range. The sound: It only has one speaker on the bottom. Yes, it has a volume mode that goes "to 300%" which is incredibly loud, but the sound is somewhat flat because it's not stereo. For gaming: If you play normal games, use social media, and everyday apps, it runs super smoothly thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate. But if you play graphically demanding games, the processor will start to struggle and you'll notice some lag. If you're looking for a rugged, durable phone with good battery life that performs well for everyday use, it's an excellent option. However, if you're very demanding regarding screen quality for viewing content or want raw power for competitive gaming, for the same price there are other brands that sacrifice durability but offer a better screen and processor.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
