Introducing the realme 9 Pro+: A Mid-Range Smartphone from Realme Realme – a brand well known for its phones offering high-end features at a fraction of the price – has just launched the latest device in their ever-expanding range: The realme 9 Pro+. This mid-range powerhouse is set to take the market by storm with its powerful processor, dedicated stereo speakers, sleek design and much more.
The realme 9 Pro+ offers an impressive range of features, starting with its 6.4-inch Super Amoled screen, which sports a resolution of 1080x2400 (FHD+) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This is complemented by its bright 430 cd/m2 (typical) brightness and 100000:1 contrast ratio, as well as HDR10+ compatibility. There’s also a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the screen from damage. The smartphone offers an impressive 83.8% usable surface area.
In terms of audio, the realme 9 Pro+ packs in a dedicated set of Stereo Speakers and supports Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos for a truly immersive sound experience. It also has a noise cancellation microphone. The phone is encased in plastic but overall looks and feels great.
When it comes to performance, the realme 9 Pro+ utilizes the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 920 (6nm) processor. This is supported by either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS Storage 2.2. The AnTuTu (v9) score for the phone is 496970. There’s also a fingerprint display for added security, as well as a Vapour Chamber Cooling system and an X-Linear Motor for improved performance.
The realme 9 Pro+ offers a triple lens camera setup – consisting of a standard 50.0Mpx Sony IMX766 f/1.8 CMOS, an 8.0Mpx Sony IMX355 f/2.2 wide angle lens, and a 2.0Mpx GalaxyCore GC02M1 f/2.4 macro lens. All of these are partnered with Optical Stabilization (OIS) and a 20x digital zoom. The phone also has a 16.0Mpx Sony IMX471 Exmor RS selfie camera with a f/2.4 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size.
In terms of connectivity, the realme 9 Pro+ offers Dual SIM, NFC, Audio Jack, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2. The 4500mAh battery also offers fast charging of up to 60.0W.
It’s safe to say that the realme 9 Pro+ packs in a lot of features for its mid-range price tag. It’s part of the realme 9 series, which includes the realme 9i, realme 9 Pro, realme 9 5G, realme 9 5G Speed Edition, realme 9 and realme 9i 5G.
The realme 9 Pro+ will hit the market in February 2022 and promises to be an excellent choice for those looking for a reliable mid-range device.

- Mid-range all rounder
This is a pretty good smartphone overall, and I quite like it. I have no complaints about the camera—it’s more than sufficient for my needs.
For gaming, I’m fairly satisfied since I mainly play MLBB. It has been running very smoothly so far.
However, there is a bug that appeared after the last update in April 2025. Unfortunately, it won’t be fixed because the device has already reached the end of its promised update support from Realme. When playing games, they will close at least once. After reopening, everything runs smoothly again.
Additionally, apps running in the background tend to close by themselves. For example, Warp 1.1.1.1 will stop on its own even though I didn’t close it. This issue applies to all apps.Pros- Very Good Main & Selfie camera

Bough it 1,5 yrs ago. First 8 months i've had problems with main camera. Sudden shakes while recording videos which made videos unusable. Was fixed with software update (took them too long for that update). Couple of months later after that update, there was new error with the phone. While it's locked for some time without any activity it gets disconnected from the wi-fi network. After the screen unlock it reconnects 3 seconds later and there is like 20 notifications that are late.
Music app sometimes skips the song while playing it. Plus couple minor software bugs.Pros- Good build quality (glass back, heavy phone)
