  • Great screen and battery for the price, but Android 14 made the system a bit heavier.

I’ve been using the Galaxy M13 (SM-M135M) and overall the experience is positive. The display has good quality for its class, with decent colors and brightness, and the 5,000 mAh battery offers excellent autonomy. Gaming performance is reasonable, fine for light and mid-range titles but nothing outstanding for heavy games. After updating to Android 14 with One UI 6.1, I noticed the system became a bit heavier compared to previous versions. It’s also worth noting that the device runs in 32-bit mode, even though the processor is 64-bit capable. Despite these points, it’s still a reliable phone with good value for money.

    Pros
    • Good display for its category
    • Excellent battery life
    • Guaranteed software updates from Samsung
    • Good value for money
    • Stable everyday experience
    Cons
    • System runs in 32-bit mode
    • Only basic gaming performance
    • System became heavier after Android 14

The phone itself works fine, I've had it for 2 years now and it hasn't given me any problems.

The phone isn't very powerful, but it has Android 14 and works well. It used to take good photos, but they've gotten worse over time. I would recommend it for daily use, but there are better options for the price. Overall, though, the phone is good.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
