  Super cheap functional everyday use phone

  The Umidigi A11 Pro Max 8GB version is a great value phone with not the best build quality. It is a very cheap phone though so you cannot expect the build quality to be good at that super low price. Although I have only had my Umidigi A11 Pro Max for about 3 months and already it is giving me issues with the charging port not plugging flush with the charging cable which leads to it constantly switching between charging and not charging. It is very annoying and is progressively getting worse. The phone call quality on this phone is surprisingly amazing compared to most other big brand phones. The cpu is a meditek Helio G80 which by 2024 standards is quite outdated now. It however is capable of doing most of what you would want or need. It even runs most mobile games at medium settings. The model I got was the 8GB memory version and honestly in 2024 8GB of memory should be the standard size. This phone is by no means a powerhouse but it is a grear daily driver apart from the phone charger port issue it runs great. The battery lasts a day easily even under heavy use. The display is 1080p lcd which is very nice to watch movies and tv shows on. This is my primary phone I use currently and it is fantastic. There have been no updates for it though as it is an older Umidigi phone running Android 11. Still works fine for me but if you want the latest version of Android this phone is not for you. Overall a great daily driver phone with some build quality issues but you cannot expect much for a phone that costs under 200 USD. It also has a headphone jack.

  good looking, solid built mid-range but lots of missing features. Competitors at same price do lot better

  • great ips display colors and brightness
  • 8Gb version has a good speed
  • The best 6.8'' midrange design on market
  • well built, good materials
  • good in the hand

  Cons

  • old chipset, dated memories
  • NO 5G or 4G+
  • audio is mono, sound is a bit flat
  • just 60hz display
  • NO upgrades at all of any kind
  • gestures sometimes are problematic

  cheap is cheap for something, although such an offer and performance is surprising despite the price

  the bad software does not optimize errors when restarting and etc. bad storage sometimes deleted files only beautiful screen but it was scratched at all very slow charging gets very hot when recording videos the sound or the microphone when recording or listening to your own videos is bad the good battery lasts 6 hours great design spectacular performance in games 7.5/10 camera 7.5/10 spectacular screen
