- Great performance with one big caveat
I am a 14-year-old geek and bought this phone in September. The main objective I had was to buy a phone with the highest AnTuTu score and an IPS screen. I chose this over Samsung M12 (much worse AnTuTu, bit better software) and realme narzo 50i prime (FHD+ screen, but with worse AnTuTu).
First, the software. This phone comes with clean Android 11 (it has done Motorola additions, but not as much as Samsung for example). This also means less bloatware. It has only some Google apps, most of which you can uninstall if you want. It runs great and had no stutters in everyday use and short intense gaming sessions.
Now for the hardware. The fingerprint reader is great, a longer tap turns the phone on. Also it's great that the phone can be sleeping (screen turned off) for the fingerprint to work. Next up, the cameras. The main rear one is great in light and medium environments, but struggles in low light as one could expect from a really cheap phone. I hate the cameras setup though: the DoF camera, which is only used to blur the background in portrait shots. The problem is that the same can be achieved by software and it's achieved in front camera portrait shots. Also, the macro camera is just too low in resolution and too grainy to want to take photos with it. Other than that, it's great. One can choose between 48MP and 12MP modes. The front camera is great quality, one can take an occasional selfie with it. There is a physical button to call Google assistant which I don't use. The microphone quality is great, the earpiece speaker also, but the main speaker is just bad. There's no other word for it. This phone had USB-C charging at 10W and a headphone jack at the top. The proximity sensor and notification diode both work great. The battery level at the end of an intense day (6hrs screen on time) is about 5-15%. I'm using it with a microSD and SIM card, no stutters it whatever, ejecting the card is great and always works.
Hope you have a wonderful day today!Pros- CPU
