    A GREAT phone!

OPPO Reno 8 pro. A highly recommended phone, it has a full HD+ OLED display that delivers 950 nits of peak brightness. It is a really good screen, with good viewing angles and it looks quite good outdoors. I would have liked that for this price, it had a little more brightness, but in general the screen seems very good to me. The memories are ufs 3.1, so you get a very good behavior in terms of load times. The processor is a Mediatek Dimensity 8100 Max, a processor that in terms of performance can sometimes surpass the Snapdragon 888+, it is a very solvent processor and it heats up very little no matter how much chit it gets, it is very well optimized and performance is outstanding. The main sensor IMX 766 with the processor dedicated to Marisilicon computational photography is great. Detail is very good, and HDR behavior is fantastic. To put a but, I think that the white balance in places with low light is not the most accurate. But the detail and behavior is as expected coming from a sensor as good as the IMX 766. The wide angle is not up to the main sensor at all. It's not that it's bad, not at all. But with the IMX 766 being so good, it makes the difference in quality very noticeable. Although I have to say that in daytime photography it will satisfy the vast majority of users. At night its behavior is very limited and with a lot of chromatic aberration in the corners. I would recommend doing a panorama with the main sensor at night, rather than using the wide-angle sensor. The macro sensor is also very fair, although I am not going to talk about this, since it is a sensor that manufacturers usually fill in. But it can get you out of trouble if you need to observe something quite small. The sound is very good, with double speakers and dolby atmos certification. Its vibration motor is excellent, the terminal is beautiful.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
