- Cheapest 5G phone for Australia but it is meh
This might be the cheapest 5g phone you can buy in Australia if you can still find one that is. I got mine on clearance at coles for 150 Australian dollars. At that price I did not expect much and I am glad I had no expectations. I say that because in terms of performance this phone is terrible. Something is horribly wrong with its ram management or maybe it just does not have enough ram to begin with. 4GB of ram for any smartphone is grossly inadequate for 2024 let alone for a 5g phone. The memory issues and lag got so bad the phone became an unusable brick. This happened within the first two weeks of use. I had to do a ful factoryl reset to fix it. I suspect it could not cope with all the social media apps on my phone as it does seem to be performing a bit better now having since only installing basic essential apps. It is still slow though which is weird considering it has an Octacore MediaTek Dimensity 700 in it running at 2ghz A76 and a 2ghz A55. That should still run the phone decently despite being an older processor. Yet it still feels sluggish just opening youtube seems like a struggle for it. Yet my Motorola G14's Unisoc 616 can open the youtube app a bit quicker and is quite a bit zippier overall. Which is odd considering it has a lesser clock speed than the Dimensity 700 although it is newer and I think it might be a couple of nm smaller so it might be a tad bit more efficient. I expected better from Vivo though. I loved my previous Vivo y33s and in a way this phone is supposed to be its successor yet somehow ended up being far inferior. Granted the call quality and coverage is excellent. Having the 5g really does help with dropouts but clearly is a battery hog. The phone battery only lasts about a day with constant use just using google maps, youtube, tiktok, facebook, etc. This phones only saving grace is its call quality and coverage. Everything else it does is mediocre at best. Only get this phone if you only intend to use it to make calls and text.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend this phone for work, although it might work for some space-hungry games. Its Mediatek Dimensity processor makes it a good value investment without breaking the bank.
Pros- Excellent Mediatek Dimensity processor
- Virtual RAM at your disposal
- Being an Asian phone, it has specialty
Cons- Unnecessary UI glitches
- some applications crash from time to time
- overheating after some use
