Reliable and delivers a lot for the price.

The camera sensors are up-to-date, with the most advanced option for each sensor size used. The battery uses silicon-carbon, offering good capacity despite its very thin body and fantastic charging speed. Connectivity features include the latest technologies: tri-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 with the latest location features using integrated UWB, and AI optimizing power consumption. The system is fluid and well-integrated with AI features. It could be better if it had more features in the photo editor and used a photo gallery independent of Google Photos.

    Pros
    • Modern camera sensors, all with 50MP.
    • Silicon-carbon battery and 90W charging.
    • Video recorded in Dolby Vision 10-bit.
    • WiFi7 Triband + Bluetooth 6 + UWB
    • Above-average AI Zoom
    • "AI adjustment" in the photo editor works well.
    Cons
    • It doesn't have its own photo gallery; it uses Google Photos.
    • It doesn't have its own photo editor; it uses Google Photos.
    • Instagram doesn't take advantage of UltraHDR photos here.
    • It has the standard RAW mode, but it could have an extra "UltraRAW" option.
    • The photo editor lacks an HSL option.

It doesn't deserve a Gold dxomark seal.

I bought it intending to use it for gaming and photography. Unfortunately, I was misled regarding the photography. The selfie camera doesn't even take acceptable photos in good light; I tested it next to a regular S23, and the S23 performed better. It uses a lot of AI to try and improve the image quality, which is already terrible, but the AI can't capture a single detail and turns faces into blurry drawings. I wasn't disappointed with night photos, as almost all phones are terrible at night, just like this one, but the selfie camera surprised me negatively.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
